A 14-day quarantine is now imposed on all travellers entering Norway from a country outside the Nordic countries. Passengers arriving on such international flights will be transported to a suitable lodging where they are quarantined for 14 days. Foreign passengers showing no symptoms of illness will be placed on return flights at the earliest possibility.
The police's responsibilities at flight arrivals
- Escort passengers from the gate to busses
- Perform border control
- Maintain order and law enforcement
The health authorities are assisted by the Norwegian Home Guard. They have no police authority. All conflict situations will be dealt with by the police.
