Since 13 March 2020, police stations in Norway have been closed to the public to limit the spread of the corona virus. The police are available by phone, as always. The police are now planning to reopen some services to the public. The first to reopen will be select administrative services, for example passport and immigration services.
– We are now working to prepare necessary protection for employees and visitors. However, we encourage everyone who can to contact the police via phone or electronic communication rather than appearing at a police station, says the National Police Commissioner Benedicte Bjørnland.
