How to report crew and passenger (pax) lists to the Norwegian border authority (police). The names of everyone aboard the vessel (both passengers and crew) must be reported to the authorities.
How to report before arrival
The captain of a vessel crossing into Norwegian territorial waters must notify the police of its presence while the vessel is underway to its first Norwegian port of call.
Notice must be given no less than 24 hours before the vessel crosses the maritime baseline (comes very close inshore).
The captain's report must contain a list of all passengers and crew.
How to report before departure
The captain of a vessel that is due to leave a Norwegian port and cross out of Norwegian territorial waters must notify the police well before its scheduled departure time.
