If you are going to drive a taxi, minibus, bus/coach, limousine or similar - and will be paid to do so - you need a passenger carrying vehicle (PCV) driver’s licence.
You need a PCV licence as well as a driving licence for the appropriate class of vehicle.
How to appeal if you are refused a PCV licenceIf your application is refused, you can appeal. You must submit your appeal no later than three weeks after you received the police's decision. You must send your appeal to the police district that processed your application.If your appeal is rejected, the police district will send your case to the National Police Directorate for further consideration.How to renew the PVC licenceThe PCV driver's licence is normally valid for 10 years. The validity period is stated on the PCV licence itself.
